History
The World Trade Centre Montréal (WTCM) was created in 1984 by the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal to meet the growing needs of its members wishing to develop their international trade potential.
The WTCM is a full-fledged member of the international network of World Trade Centers. With a presence in over 330 major cities around the world, this private business network boasts 500,000 members in more than 100 countries.
Mandate of the WTCM
The Board of Trade’s team of international trade experts, the WTCM, is tasked with providing support, training, and advice to Quebec businesses, sector-based associations, institutions, and economic development organizations in their foreign market development efforts.
To this end, it has created a comprehensive range of services to increase the competitiveness of Montréal businesses abroad.
