Each year, the Board of Trade continues its tradition of organizing events in sectors dear to its heart such as education and culture.

The Board of Trade has also set itself the goal of educating the business community about the importance of arts and culture to the development of Montreal.  This is why, every year, in association with the Conseil des arts de Montréal,
it organizes the Prix Arts-Affaires to reward companies and individuals who have lent their support to Montreal's
artistic and cultural organizations.

For more than 30 years, through the Academy of Great Montrealers , the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal has paid homage to the builders of Montreal's economic, social, cultural, and scientific life who, through
their involvement and passion, have helped shape our city's identity.

The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal is proud to partner with the Office québécois de la langue française to launch the Mérite du français dans la PME award, to be presented to companies that have taken steps to increase the use of French in their operations. This award will be presented for the first time during the 2010 edition of the Francofête.
