Patrick Thomas is Co-founder and Managing Director of Thomas & Lugert International, an export development consulting firm providing strategy development and implementation services exclusively to the fashion industry and related supply chain companies.

In addition, he has been the Executive Director of the Apparel Human Resources Council of Canada since 2012.

His career in the apparel industry started in 1985 as manager of the export and brand development of Ma Divine Clémentine, a Montréal children’s apparel company until 1998, when he was appointed as Executive Director of the Children’s Apparel Manufacturers Association. He successfully managed the organization until 2008, when he became Executive Director of Apparel Quebec. Throughout these years, he successfully organized export trade missions and export related training programs.

He distinguishes himself with a hands-on, personal approach, guiding his clients successfully through issues related to international marketing, specialized distribution and strategic partnerships.
