When it comes to the movement of people or the transportation of goods, the fluidity and efficiency of our transportation networks have major repercussions on Montréal's economy and development. Come discuss strategies the city must focus on to ensure the competitiveness and growth of this key sector, and reflect on today's problems and tomorrow's solutions for efficient transportation networks.

  • Learn how the smooth flow of people and goods is strategically important for the city, and determine the means that must be used to encourage this fluidity
  • Understand the issues relating to the transportation of goods, whether by ship, rail, air, or road
  • Take stock of the maintenance of transportation infrastructure in the metropolitan region in order to fully understand its impact in the short, medium, and long term
  • Reflect on measures to take to ensure the competitiveness and growth of this strategic sector for our economy
