| THE MISSION IN BRIEF |
|
Building on the success of their 2011 activities focusing on India, the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and its team of international trade experts, the World Trade Centre Montréal, in partnership with Export Québec, a unit of the Ministère du Développement économique, de l’Innovation et de l’Exportation (MDEIE), will arrange a trade mission to India from January 27 to February 4, 2012. MEDEC will collaborate to the Health tier of this mission.
To date, our activities, including the January 2011 trade mission and the May 2011 Indian buyers visit, helped us confirm the huge potential of this market in the fields of health and related technologies. Indian stakeholders entertain a growing interest for Quebec’s health expertise, products and services.
The 2012 trade mission to India is part of an ongoing and structured initiative. It aims to enable companies to take advantage of established contacts and opportunities, more specifically with the state of Maharashtra and large private health groups.
