Renée Fortin is a bilingual marketing, digital media, and business development professional with over 28,000 hours (more than 15 years) of experience, including at least 10,000 hours on LinkedIn since 2007.

As a communicator focused on digital technology, she held several sales positions in Quebec’s major media early in her career. An analytical and creative leader, she has spent the last few years as a B2B strategy advisor for advertising agencies and their clients. Over this same period, she developed a personalized LinkedIn training program to help businesses and individuals in her industry become familiar with digital technology and branding, which needs to be adapted for social networks. Her aim is to motivate the industry in its online business development, so that it can become more competitive on the local and international markets—Quebec companies have been lagging slightly in this respect in recent years.

Since 2014, Ms. Fortin has been the Vice President, Partner, and Co-owner of l’entremetteuse, a talent recruitment agency specializing in communications and 360° marketing. Together with her team, she provides ongoing support for Quebec human resources professionals, ad agency creatives, and entrepreneurs in their personalized search for talent.

Renée Fortin is also an interactive trainer at Campus Infopresse, and regularly posts articles relating to marketing on her LinkedIn profile and her company’s social media to help further the knowledge of her peers.
