With a doctorate in industrial relations, specializing in human resource management and work organization, Daniel Beaupré is a professor at a Montréal university and works with the private sector in human resource management. His most recent work has been on high-performance models in the private and public sectors in Quebec. He is the author of many documents on the topic, including articles, books and reports.

With his keen understanding of the workings of companies and ability to solve problems managers encounter, he is regarded as a highly skilled consultant by the private, public and parapublic sectors. In the past 12 years, over 100 organizations have had the benefit of his sound advice.
