Following his 30-year career as an international freight forwarder in Europe and Canada, in May 2010, Christian Sivière established Solutions Import Export Logistique/Solimpex, an import-export consulting company that provides advice to businesses seeking to expand onto international markets, and offers training on international trade, with a focus on logistics and related topics.

Mr. Sivière gives courses at Collège Marie-Victorin in Montreal and for the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association in Toronto, as well as seminars for other organizations. He is a member of the German, Belgian, and French chambers of commerce in Canada, the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association, Manufacturiers et exportateurs du Québec, the Supply Chain Management Association, and an administrator of the Quebec Association of Export Trading Houses.

He is a CPMT certified trainer (55438) and writes articles for several publications.

WHY TAKE THIS WORKSHOP?

Incoterms 2010 have been in force since January 1st, 2011. Having undergone a thorough revision, Incoterms 2010 rules reflect the changes that have taken place in the world since 2000. You absolutely need to update your knowledge in order to avoid any misunderstanding in your business transactions. This workshop will provide you with an overview of the changes made and their consequences on your current and upcoming international contracts and payments.
