Suzelle Bélanger studied at HEC Montréal. She is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec and the Association for Financial Professionals.

Ms. Bélanger has spent most of her career at the international level, with some fifteen years of experience in documentary credit. After a training period, she was appointed account manager. Because of her expertise in documentary credit and small business financing, she was promoted to Director, International Trade in September 1996. In March 2007, the position Ms. Bélanger held grew more specialized to include international trade, cash flow management and exchange. In spring 2012, Ms. Bélanger accepted the position of Senior Specialist in International Trade Financing. 

Since 2004, Ms. Bélanger has been teaching regular courses on international trade financing at HEC Montréal, and she occasionally provides training through organizations such as the World Trade Centre Montréal.

 

In October 2008, Ms. Bélanger obtained her CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), an esteemed certification that is universally recognized among treasury specialists as offering added value in that field. She was also honoured at the Association for Financial Professionals’ 2008 annual conference for having achieved the highest score internationally on the certification exams.
