MiEmploi QuébecThe fifth edition of the Montréal Summit on Innovation (MSI) is being led by Concordia University.

Initiated by McGill University and the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) to position Montréal as a hub of innovation both nationally and internationally, the Quartier de l’innovation (QI) is an ecosystem of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the heart of Montréal.

QI aims to improve collaboration with local, national, and international partners in order to spark new business opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs. This new environment encourages partnerships between universities, businesses, public agencies, and the community at large.

The fifth edition of the Montréal Summit on Innovation (MSI), organized by QI, will be held on November 30, 2015. The four previous editions focused on Health and Creative Industries, Smart Grids, Aerospace, and Innovative Districts. These high-level conferences give rise to a wealth of new ideas, stimulate discussion among participants, open up avenues of solution for specific problems, and provide inspiration from the best international practices. The event brings together some 300 people from industry, government, university, and community organizations each year.
